*The Japanese song title, ‘進撃の防弾/shingeki no boudan’, refers to the Japanese manga series ‘進撃の巨人/Shingeki no Kyojin’, which has officially been translated into English as ‘Attack on Titan’. The translation of the song title, ‘Attack on Bangtan’, keeps that reference. However, ‘進撃の/shingeki no’ in both titles means an active action of attacking or advancing. The meaning is thus actually closer to ‘Bangtan Attacks’ or ‘Bangtan Advances’, evoking them charging forward and attacking, rather than being the ones getting attacked.
